A running start... or not

Hello Reader!

I don't know about you, but it's been tough to get going this year. Despite my best intentions to keep last year's momentum, that didn't happen. If you're in LA you probably spent the better part of January like me, running from or keeping an eye on wild fires. All I could handle during those weeks was freelance projects and the demands of my cat. So I'm a little late this month and don't have as much art to share, but I just completed a blog post about another zodiac sign: Sagittarius (yay, only one more to go! Leo).

You might wonder why spend so much time thinking and writing about myths–that's ancient history, who cares. Well, because in the inner world things don't change much. Myths describe those same drama and patterns going on in the people and society today.

Whether we know it or not something inside us craves wholeness and wants us to realize our individual potential. The Greeks imagined this urge as a skilled archer with powerful legs... which is actually a good symbol for this crazy year. I think reaching goals is going to be like shooting at a target while running!
